School night
Tonight we had an adoption event that was a little different. A school was having a fun fair and invited us to bring adoptable dogs. I had done this event last year with my foster, Boomer. Boomer was a 90 pound blue tick coonhound. He was great. He loved people, but got over excited and would try to jump up (and being 90 pounds that was not good). Because of this a lot of the kids avoided him. I will go into more about Boomer later, he was a fun dog. This year I took Rocky (who I may not have made clear is the same as Loki, same dog different name). Rocky did great. He really does love kids. His tail was going pretty much the whole time. Some of that had to do with the goodies the kids were carrying. He tended to be a favorite of the kids too. One little boy spent most of the event with him and was trying to talk his mom into adopting. His mom told him she would have to have a family discussion. They weren’t too keen on the fence jumping.
